twist of fate....

Just when you thought you are at the bottom of a bottomless pit, things started to turn around. Just on Monday, I was in my lowest of lows, thinking that I'm properly fucked, as I couldn't find any work and none of the companies I applied to responded to me. I told my friend that if I still did not get a job by end of August, I will go apply to be a taxi driver or construction worker. Well, things finally turned around and I'm happier now. I love working and I love being busy!

Tonight, I'm heading down to Zouk, as I received an invitation to a smashin' party that is offering free flow booze. I'm so going to get smashed tonight. Yippee!

happy birthday my beloved one!

I did the most unthinkable thing today, I actually took a train down to Marina Bay to join in the celebration of Singapore's birthday! It was so packed, man, I thought half of Singapore turned up today! I was real surprised to see many foreigners especially westerners who took their family along with them to catch the action. Although the parade is pretty much cookie cutter style (I can almost remember the entire sequence, it did not change much since I participated during my army days)

The fireworks were really beautiful this year. If music transcends all barriers regardless of language, race or religion, I say fireworks too. Everyone was just transfixed when the fireworks exploded and lit up the sky. Here are some photos I took at Singapore's National Day Parade 2007! Happy birthday Singapore!
